Pucker Up!!

I was just downloading the photos from my wedding and honeymoon from my point and shoot camera. I came across this cute picture of me and a dolphin. Our cruise stopped in Freeport and we had an excursion that you could swim with dolphins. Maren, Denise, Debby and I all jumped on the opportunity to swim with dolphins. The weather was a bit chilly, but it didn't stop us from having a great time. I was practicing my first kiss with Dzifa for our wedding that took place the next day. :-)

Cleaning Off My Desktop

I have been attempting to clean off old folders from my desktop. Since "wedding season" will be kicking off in the next few months I figured now was a good time to get organized. I always come across some of my personal photos that I shot, downloaded and never posted on here. This is from my trip to Cape Cod. The sunsets at the Cape there are unreal! Dzifa and I head out to the Cape for a week every year. This year will be a little different because I have a wedding on both weekends that bookend the week out there. I am sure we will still manage to get out there for a few days in the sun. :-) Speaking of sun I am ready for it to warm up and stop snowing in Colorado. Just another month or so...

Northwestern at the Broadmoor

Every year I have the pleasure of photographing Northwestern Mutual Financial Network's annual party. I always photograph one big group portrait of all of the reps. This is the first year in 29 years my dad hasn't been in the photo. Both Dzifa and my dad work for NMFN. Poor Dzifa missed out on this photo too. He caught a stomach bug and had to stay in the hotel room. It is always a challenge to arrange and photograph 100+ people in one shot. Thankfully Tom Moore came down to help me out with this.

Jake and Katie's Engagement Session

Katie and Jake are such a sweet couple. Jake was just getting over a cold and Katie had been dodging him all weekend to avoid getting sick. Then I came along to do their shoot up in the mountains. I had them kissing every other minute. Katie kept laughing because she was bound and determined not to catch Jake's cold. It was pretty cute watching them together. They have planned their destination wedding for August 2nd up in Keystone. You can watch a little slideshow of their engagement portrait here.

A perfect match. This was a cool scene!

Gerrard-Kuttler Wedding

Justin and Meagan were incredibly adorable in freezing cold weather. They tied the knot on January 5th and pushed through the cold to get some great photos. I just loved how sweet Justin was to Meagan. They were wonderful to work with. If you want to see more of their wedding click on this slideshow link.

This is one of my favorites!
I love it when the wind comes at just the right moment.

Simply beautiful.
Handsome guy.
This is a fun dramatic shot.
The perfect way to end the perfect day.
